MPU Congress
The MPU Congress is the main initiative promoted by the MPU
The next MPU congress will be held in 2025 in Bari, Italy, and updates relating to this and other relevant meetings will be appropriately highlighted at this site.
This Congress is an important opportunity for knowledge transfer relating to recent advances in all aspects of plant diseases and their sustainable management, new perspectives, and establishing new research connections and interactions.
MPU Congresses aim to include all relevant research communities that extend within and beyond national boundaries. The Congresses are important for dissemination of the recent scientific outcomes and technical advances in all facets of phytopathology, and provide young researchers with opportunities to increase scientific interactions. Awards made during MPU Congresses recognize contributions by young scientists in any aspect of plant pathology.
MPU congresses are held every 3 to 4 years, each in a selected country within the Mediterranean region. The last MPU Congress was held in Limassol, Cyprus (4-6 April, 2022).
The next MPU congress will be held in 2025 in Bari, Italy, and updates relating to this and other relevant meetings will be appropriately highlighted at this site.
